Abstract
Turizam je pojava unutar slobodnog vremena, a najvažnije turističke potrebe su potrebe za odmaranjem, zabavom i novim aktivnostima u slobodnom vremenu. U turističkim potrebama sadržane su „iskonske potrebe” čovjeka urbanizirane sredine koje on ne može zadovoljiti u svakodnevnom životu i radu: potreba za prirodom, igrom u najširem smislu i potreba komuniciranja s drugim ljudima. Zadovoljavanjem potreba ispunjavaju se funkcije turizma: odmor, razonoda i razvoj ličnosti kao suprotnost zamoru, dosadi i automatizmu svakodnevnog života. Kako bi se utvrdili trendovi koji se javljaju u turizmu, svakako je potrebno vršiti stalne statističke analize turističkog prometa. Republika Hrvatska zemlja je koja od svojih osnutaka do danas bilježi značajan turistički promet, posebice u priobalnim dijelovima. Kvaliteta i ponuda turizma Republike Hrvatske prepoznata je diljem cijelog svijeta, što potvrđuje činjenica kako svake godine sve više gostiju odabire Hrvatsku za turističku destinaciju. Osim povećanja broja dolazaka gostiju, produljuje se i boravak u turističkoj destinaciji.
Abstract (english)
Tourism is a phenomenon in leisure time, and the most important tourist needs are the need for rest, fun and new leisure activities. In tourist needs, there is the "primary needs" of a man of urbanized environment that he can not satisfy in everyday life and work: the need for nature, the game in the widest sense, and the need to communicate with other people. By fulfilling needs, the functions of tourism are fulfilled: rest, leisure and personal development as opposed to fatigue, boredom and the automation of everyday life. In order to determine the trends that occur in tourism, it is certainly necessary to carry out a permanent statistical analysis of tourist traffic. Croatia is a country that has since its foundations registered significant tourist traffic, especially in coastal areas. The quality and offer of tourism in Croatia has been recognized all over the world, which is confirmed by the fact that every year more and more guests choose Croatia as a tourist destination. In addition to increasing the number of guests' arrivals, the stay in a tourist destination is prolonged.
