Over time, quality has become one of the most important business factors that, in addition to ensuring the correctness of products and services, instills security and trust in customers. It is one of the most powerful tools for continuously improving company's performance and establishing competition on the market. Quality management systems increases customer’s and partner’s satisfaction, maintains product quality and reduces the number of errors. Quality management system certification brings a number of benefits such as improving efficiency, productivity, processes and procedures, and strengthening a company's reputation. Oktal Pharma d.o.o. is the first wholesaler in Croatia to adopt the ISO 9001: 2015 standard for the quality management system, after which it introduced the ISO 14001: 2015 standard for the environmental management system. By combining these standards, the company has implemented an integrated management system through which numerous improvements have been made. The main goal of this paper was to examine, compare and analyze the attitudes of employees (executive workers and managers) and determine whether there are differences in their opinions about the effectiveness of the quality system in the company. In order to achieve that, a survey questionnaire was created, which consisted of 2 parts. The first one was made of general, demographic data, and the second consisted of 30 statements divided into 4 dimensions/groups of jobs according to which the respondents expressed their degrees of (dis)agreement ranked according to the Likert scale. Managers showed a higher degree of agreement for 29 out of 30 claims, and, detailed data processing showed that there is a statistically significant difference between the views of executive employees and managers on the effectiveness of the quality system in the company Oktal Pharma d.o.o. Dugopolje.
