Abstract
Relativno nova znanstvena disciplina koja svoj primarni izvor pronalazi u psihologiji, poznatija kao bihevioralna ekonomija, u posljednjih 20-ak godina privlači pažnju mnogih autora. Najviše se primjenjuje u svrhu boljeg razumijevanja potrošača, osobito na području donošenja odluka, uključujući osobne osjećaje i ograničenja na realan način. Budući da je čovjek inteligentno, promišljeno i misteriozno biće te ga kao takvoga treba i promatrati, bihevioralna ekonomija je duboko ušla u trag zašto se čovjek ponaša na određen način. Dosadašnje teorije su objasnile kako se čovjek ponaša i što sve može utjecati na njegovo ponašanje, no bihevioralna ekonomija je napravila korak naprijed te je mnogobrojnim eksperimentima pokazala potpuno drugačije gledište na ponašanje čovjeka i najčešće pogreške koje čini u uvjetima neizvjesnosti kao i kod odgađanja obaveza. Ovaj rad pokazuje da je to zaista tako. Sustavne pogreške se pojavljuju na predvidljive načine i u određenim okolnostima. Mentalni rad, koji stvara dojmove, intuicije, brojne odluke, događa se u tišini našeg uma. Kakvo je remek-djelo čovjek! Kako plemenit umom! Tako neizmjeran u sposobnosti! U liku tako skladan i u kretnji tako divan! Kako je sličan anđelu u djelovanju! U shvaćanju na Boga nalik! Ljepota svijeta! Životinjama uzor! – Hamlet, čin II, scena 2
Abstract (english)
The relatively new scientific discipline that finds its primary source in psychology, known as a behavioral economics, has attracted the attention of many authors over the last 20 years. It is best applied for a better understanding of consumers, especially in the area of decision-making, including personal feelings and limitations in a realistic way. A man is an intelligent, thoughtful and mysterious creature and he should be observed as such, the behavioral economy has come to a deeply traced why man behaves in a certain way. Theories of the past have explained how man is behaving and all that can affect his behavior, but the behavioral economy has made a step forward and has shown a whole different view of man's behavior and the most common mistakes he faces in conditions of uncertainty as well as when he is delayed in many experiments. What a piece of work is a man! How noble in reason! How infinite in faculty! In form and moving how express and admirable! In action how like an angel! In apprehension how like a god! The beauty of the world, the paragon of animals! – from Act II, scene 2, of Hamlet
