Abstract
U ovom završnom radu teoretski su se analizirali on line programi i sadržaji za potrebe obrazovanja u turizmu s naglaskom na hotelski sektor. Geografski je obuhvaćeno područje Europske unije, te su na istom području istražene najbolje organizacije i škole za stručno usavršavanje u turističkom sektoru. Svrha ovoga rada je bila prikazati mogućnost i potrebu učenja na daljinu bez fizičke prisutnosti na učilištu i polaganja klasičnih ispita. Na temelju podataka, autor zaključuje da on line obrazovanje stječe veliku popularnost i dostupno je velikom broju ljudi koji su željni za stručnim usavršavanjem ili cjeloživotnim obrazovanjem. Također zaključak cijelog rada je taj da je online obrazovanje ključna metoda rasta gospodarskog sektora, u ovom slučaju turističkog s naglaskom na hotelski sektor.
Abstract (english)
On this final paper, online programs and content for tourism education purposes were theoretically analyzed with a focus on the hotel sector. We have geographically covered the territory of the European Union, and in the same area we have researched the best organizations and schools for professional development in the tourism sector. The purpose of this paper was to present the possibility and the need for distance learning without physical presence at the college and passing the classical exams. The research of educational programs was conducted through professional literature partly found on the Internet and partly in professional books. Based on the data, the author concludes that online education is gaining in popularity and is accessible to a large number of people who are seeking vocational training or lifelong learning. Also the conclusion of the whole paper is that online education is a key method of growth for the economic sector, in this case tourism with a focus on the hotel sector.
