Abstract
Strateški menadžment važan je dio poslovanja državnih i privatnih poduzeća, odnosno važan je samom zakonodavcu i tijelima izvršne vlasti u donošenju dugoročnih planova za pojedine ekonomske sektore, u ovom slučaju konkretno u turizmu. Sam proces strateškog menadžmenta nije statičan, već se konstantno mijenja, zavisno o ekonomskoj i zakonodavnoj klimi. Osobe koje su zadužene za strateški menadžment koriste se raznim metodama kako bi ostvarili najbolje rezultate u sferi dugoročnog predviđanja budućnosti poslovanja. Hrvatske vlasti su važnost strateškog menadžmenta na državnoj razini prepoznale u sferi turizma te je tako Sabor donio Strategiju razvoja hrvatskog turizma do 2020. godine. Izvršavanje mjera provodi se kroz donošenje Akcijskih planova za pojedine sektore unutar samog turističkog sektora te se na taj način pokušava povećati, ujednačiti i razvijati kvaliteta ponude hrvatskog turizma.
Abstract (english)
Strategic management is an important part of a general business process of every state or private enterprise, and it also play’s very important role for policymakers and bodies of executive government branch in making long-term plans for individual state economic sectors, in this case, for tourism. Strategic management process alone is not a static phenomenon, it is changing constantly, and it depends on general economic and policymaking climate. Persons who are in charge for strategic management are using all sorts of different methods for long term forecasting of future business performance. Croatian authorities recognized the importance of strategic management in state intervention in tourism sector, and Croatian legislator has supported this by passing Development Strategy for Croatian Tourism by 2020. Execution of measures written inside Development Strategy is provided by Action plans for individual sectors inside general tourism sector, and end goal of this intervention is to: increase, harmonize, and develop the quality of the Croatian tourism sector.
