Abstract
Svaka destinacija predstavlja turističko tržište na kojem neprestano dolazi do susreta turističke ponude i turističke potražnje. Glavni cilj ovog rada bio je prikazati trenutno stanje i analizu turističkih potencijala grada Solina. Prikazane su opće karakteristike grada te je podrobno obrađena cjelina turističke ponude i turističke potražnje grada Solina. U odnosu na velike gradove, manji gradovi poput Solina svojom autentičnošću mogu prikazati puno više i ostvariti bolji kontakt s posjetiteljima. Na taj način Solin može pružiti atraktivnu i dinamičnu interpretaciju razvoja grada. Solin je destinacija koja svoj proizvod temelji na kulturno – povijesnoj baštini. U današnje vrijeme, sve je veći interes gostiju koji traže odmor daleko od gradskih gužvi, a Solin je idealna destinacija za takvu vrstu odmora. Nužno je provesti istraživanje tržišta kako bi se produbila kvaliteta usluga i ukazale eventualne pogreške upravljanja destinacijom.
Abstract (english)
Each destination represents a tourist market in which there is a constant meeting of tourist offer and tourist demand. The main objective of this paper was to present the current situation and the analysis of the tourist potentials of the city of Solin. General characteristics of the city are presented and the whole of the tourist offer and tourist demand of the city of Solin is described in detail. In comparison to larger cities, small cities like Solin can display much more with their authenticity and can make better contact with visitors. In this way, Solin can provide an attractive and dynamic interpretation of the city's development. Solin is a destination that bases its attraction on cultural and historical heritage. Nowadays, the interest of holiday seekers is growing far from the city crowds, and Solin is an ideal destination for this type of holidays. It is necessary to conduct market research in order to deepen the quality of services and to point out the possible errors in the management of the destination.
