Abstract
Cilj ovog rada je pobliže pojasniti izloženost stresu na radnom mjestu, s naglaskom na rad u malim obiteljskim hotelima te istaknuti prednosti, mane, obilježja poslovanja, položaj u Republici Hrvatskoj te shvatiti čemu su radnici izloženi radeću u ovoj vrsti smještajnih objekata. U početku se pojmovno određuje stres, njegovi uzroci, utjecaj na radni učinak te upravljanje stresom. Nakon toga pojmovno se određuje mali hotel sa svojim obilježjima i položajem u RH. Na kraju se s pomoću ankete govori o izloženosti stresu radnika u malim obiteljskim hotelima, o učinkovitim načinima motivacije i brizi poslodavca. Sve to dovodi do zaključka da su zaposlenici malih obiteljskih hotela izloženi stresu te potvrđuje teze o položaju malih obiteljskih hotela u RH, odnosno njegovih radnika.
Abstract (english)
The aim of this paper is to explain the exposure to stress in the workplace, with emphasis on working in small family hotels and highlight the advantages, disadvantages, business characteristics, position in the Republic of Croatia and to understand what are employers exposed to, while working in this type of accommodation. In the beginning, stress is conceptually defined, its causes, impact on work performance and stress management. After that, a “small hotel” is conceptually defined with its characteristics and position in the Republic of Croatia. Finally, through the results of survey answers it is talked about exposure of employee to stress in small family hotels and also about effective ways of motivating and caring of the employer for the employee. All this leads to the conclusion that employees of small family hotels are exposed to stress and confirms the thesis about the position of small family hotels in the Republic of Croatia and its employees.
