Abstract
Osnova odnosa između radnika i poslodavca čini radni odnos. Radni odnos je definiran na temelju radnog prava. Temeljna prava, obveze i odgovornosti radnika i poslodavca iz radnog odnosa uređena su zakonima, pravilnicima, kolektivnig ugovorima i drugim propisima koja se odnose na radnička prava i njihovu zaštitu. Zaštita zaposlenika u RH obuhvaća niz odredbi i propisa uređenih prije svega Ustavom RH a potom zakonima i ostalim propisima. Temeljni zakon kojim je određena zaštita zaposlenika te njihova prava je Zakon o radu. Osim Zakona o radu radni odnosi u RH su uređenim i nizom drugih zakona i propisa koji se odnose na opća prava radika iz radnog odnosa, zaštiti dostojnstva i privatnosti radnika, zaštita radnika na radu te na zdrastvenu zašitu radnika i mirovinsko osiguranje radnika.

The basis of the relationship between the worker and the employer makes working relationship. The employment relationship is defined on the basis of labor law. Fundamental rights, obligations and responsibilities of workers and employers from employment are regulated by laws, regulations, collective agreements and other regulations relating to workers' rights and their protection. Protection of employees in the Republic of Croatia includes a number of provisions and regulations arranged primarily by the Constitution and then the laws and other regulations. Basic Law which defines the protection of employees and 38 their rights is the Labour Law. In addition to the Law on labor relations in Croatia are regulated by a series of other laws and regulations relating to the general rights worker from employment, protect the dignity and privacy of workers, protection of workers at work and on the health and sew workers and pension insurance of workers.
