Abstract
Vođenje se definira kao proces koji je usmjeren, u hijerarhijskom sustavu, na pridobivanje članova organizacije da rade složno na promicanju zajedničkih interesa organizacije. Ono, kao menadžerska funkcija, pomaže ljudima da shvate da su oni sposobni zadovoljiti najprije svoje vlastite potrebe na temelju svog rada, čime koriste svoje ljudske potencijale i doprinose ciljevima organizacije u kojoj rade. Menadžer mora imati prirodnu ili stečenu osobinu razumijevanja ljudi koje vodi, odnosno mora razumjeti ili otkrivati ljudske individualne sposobnosti, sklonosti ili slabosti što je suština menadžmenta. Dok se vođenje definira kao funkcija, vodstvo je proces kojim se vođenje ostvaruje, tj. jedna komponenta. Vođa može koristiti jedan ili kombinaciju više stilova,ovisno o situaciji u kojoj se nađe da bi se najefektnije nosio sa situacijom i ponašanjem sljedbenika. Na primjeru tvrtke Altria Media d.o.o. prikazuje se utjecaj i djelovanje provođenja stilova vođe na zaposlenike u organizaciji.

Leadership is defined as a process that is directed, in a hierarchical system, at the acquisition of members of the organization that are committed to improving the common interests of the organization. Leadership, as a managerial function, helps people to realize that they are able to accomplish their own needs in their work, and there by contribute to the goals of the organization in which they work. The manager must have natural or acquired trait for understanding people who they lead, and should understand and discover the human individual abilities, preferences or weakness which is the essence of management. While the leadership is defined as a function, guidance is the process of managing achieved, is. one component of it. The leader can use one or a combination of several styles, depending on the situation, as long as the selected style is most effective in the situation when there is a need to influence on the behavior of employees. At the example of the company Altria Media Ltd. the impact and effect of the implementation of leadership styles on employees in the organization is shown.
