Abstract
Povratak prirodi i tradiciji, daleko od turističkih središta, javlja kao sve izraženiji trend, a neotkrivene ljepote Gornje Podstrane nadohvat su ruke svima željnima drugačijeg odmora u netaknutom prirodom ambijentu. Stoga je Glavni cilj ovog rada bilo prikazati trenutno stanje i mogućnosti razvoja turističkih potencijala etno-eko sela Gornja Podstrana. Međutim, prije same analize, uvelo se u pojam ruralnog turizma kojeg se temeljito objasnilo te povezalo s održivim razvojem. Objašnjen je i koncept etno-eko sela nakon kojeg se polagano krenulo pričati o temi završnog rada, etno-eko selu Gornja Podstrana. Nakon analize stanja tj. zamljopisnog položaja, infrastrukture, turističkih sadržaja i swot analize, zaključilo se kako etno-eko selo ima štošta ponuditi turistima, ali postoji još jako puno prostora za napredak, od proširenja i ulaganja u turističke sadržaje, infrastrukturu, a posebice promociju. Stoga su na samom kraju rada dani prijedlozi razvoja i obogaćivanja turističke ponude kao i prijedlozi za njenu učinkovitu promociju.
Abstract (english)
Tradition and nature, far away from crowded tourist centers, are emerging as an increasingly pronunced trend, and the undiscovered beauties of Gornja Podstrana are within reach of all who are seeking for different vacation in untouched natural environment. Therefore, the main goal of this paper was to present the current state and possibilities of development of tourist potentials of the ethno-eco village Gornja Podstrana. However, before the analysis itself, the concept of rural tourism was introduced, thoroughly explained and afterwards linked to sustainable development. Further on, the concept of ethno-eco village was defined as an introduction to the main topic of the work, ethno-eco village Gornja Podstrana. After the thorough analysis of the current situation of the village, it was concluded that Gornja Podstrana has a lot of amenities to offer to potential tourists, but there is still plenty of room for improvement. Firstlly, from expansion and investment in tourist facilities to infrastructure and mostly promotion. Therefore, at the very end of the paper, suggestions for development and enrichment of tourist offer are given as well as the proposal for its successful promotion.
