Abstract Institucije visokog obrazovanja danas se susreću s mnoštvom izazva, a među njima posebno se ističe digitalna transformacija. Posljedica digitalne transformacije brojne su digitalne usluge koje studenti ocjenjuju kao lošijima uspoređujući ih s komercijalnim uslugama. Istaknuta je važnost digitalnih usluga potpornih aktivnosti koje studentima olakšavaju studiranje i omogućuju im fokus na učenje. Digitalne usluge potrebno je promatrati u kontekstu discipline informacijskih sustava, što podrazumijeva velika ulaganja, a time i potrebu za vrednovanjem. Neophodno je definirati odrednice koje doprinose uspjehu spomenutih usluga kako one ne bi bile same sebi svrha. Premda je vrednovanje informacijskih sustava predmet brojnih istraživanja posljednjih 30 godina, došlo je do promjene perspektive vrednovanja koja u fokus sada stavlja krajnje korisnike — studente. Pregled literature ukazao je na nekonzistentno korištenje indikatora pri mjerenju determinanti uspjeha, ali i potvrdio da se najčešće koristi DeLone i McLean model za mjerenje uspjeha. Marketizacija visokog obrazovanja dodatno je iznjedrila koncepte sukreiranja i korisničkog iskustva. U svrhu određivanja determinanti uspjeha digitalnih usluga u visokom obrazovanju, provedeno je više fazi empirijskog istraživanja. Istraživanjem s ekspertima definirani su indikatori istraživanih konstrukata, a time i instrument, dok je kvantitativnim istraživanjem vrednovan konceptualni model uspjeha. Sveukupno je empirijskim istraživanjem obuhvaćeno preko 850 dionika visokog obrazovanja u Hrvatskoj, a rezultati su potvrdili važnost korisničkog iskustva i sukreiranja u kontekstu mjerenja uspjeha digitalnih usluga. Rezultati su omogućili bolje razumijevanje istraživanih konstrukata kako bi se osigurao uspjeh digitalnih usluga čija budućnost tek dolazi.
Abstract (english) Nowadays, higher education institutions face many challenges, among which digital transformation is considered the most significant. Digital transformation results in numerous digital services, which students, comparing them to commercial services, rate as inferior. The importance of digital support services is particularly highlighted, since they make it easier for students to study and enable them to focus on learning. Digital services need to be considered within the information systems discipline, which entails large investments and thus requires an evaluation. It is necessary to define the determinants contributing to the success of these services, so that they would not be an end in themselves. The evaluation of information systems has been the subject of numerous researches in the last 30 years, but the evaluation perspective has changed and now focuses on the end users - students. The results of conducted literature review have showed that the indicators have been inconsistently used for measuring success determinants, and also confirmed that the DeLone and McLean model is most commonly used to measure success. Furthermore, marketization of higher education has triggered the importance of co-creation and user experience concepts. In order to identify the determinants of the success of digital services in higher education, an empirical study in two phases was conducted. The results of the first part with experts resulted in final list of indicators for measuring the investigated constructs, while the qualitative survey was used to evaluate the proposed success model. In total, empirical study included over 850 higher education stakeholders in Croatia, and the results confirmed the importance of user experience and co¬creation in the context of measuring the success of digital services. The results provided a better understanding of the constructs researched to ensure the success of digital services whose future is yet to come.
