Abstract
Osnovni cilj ovog rada bio je istražiti utjecaj ekonomskih i demografskih čimbenika na potražnju za životnim osiguranjima od strane kupaca životnih osiguranja. Anketa je poslana na više od 1000 adresa i prikupljen je uzorak od 312 ispitanika. Analizom podataka zaključeno je da dohodak pojedinca, želja za štednjom, cijena police životnog osiguranja, prinosi na policu, broj uzdržavanih članova i razlike u dobnim skupinama imaju najveći utjecaj na potražnju za životnim osiguranjem. Zaključeno je kako stupanj obrazovanja i razlika u spolu nemaju utjecaja na potražnju za životnim osiguranjima. Specifične karakteristike koje utječu na odabir društva za osiguranje a uključuju; karakteristike društva za osiguranje, karakteristike polica životnog osiguranja, karakteristike posrednika u prodaji osiguranja i percepciju kupaca, djelomično se prihvaćaju kao utjecajni čimbenici na izbor društva za osiguranja. Najveći utjecaj od ovih čimbenika ima poznanstvo s prodajnim agentom, dok sudjelovanje društva u društveno korisnim aktivnostima uopće nema utjecaja na izbor društva za osiguranje.

The main objective of this study was to investigate the impact of economic and demographic factors on the demand for life insurance by customers of life insurance. The survey was sent to more than 1,000 addresses and collected a sample of 312 respondents. By analyzing the data, it was concluded that the income of the individual, the desire to save, the cost of police life insurance, yields on the shelf, number of dependents and the difference in age have the greatest impact on the demand for life insurance. It was concluded that the level of education and gender differences have no impact on the demand for life insurance. Specific characteristics that affect the selection of an insurance company include; the characteristics of an insurance, life insurance policy characteristics, characteristics of intermediaries in insurance sales and customer perception, partially accepted as influential factors on choosing the insurance. The biggest impact of these factors have acquaintance with sales agents while society participation in social activities do not impact on choosing the insurance.
