Abstract
U ovom završnom radu obraĎena je uloga informacijsko-komunikacijskih tehnologija u promociji turističkih dogaĎaja s naglaskom na dogaĎaj Ultra Europe festivala u Splitu. Detaljno je obraĎen dogaĎaj Ultre u Splitu, njegove promocije putem društvenih mreţa, takoĎer je prikazana i druga strana tog dogaĎaja. Promocija u današnjem suvremenom svijetu se svodi glavnim dijelom na promociju putem Interneta te internetskih stranica i mreţa, te se uloga promocije putem tradicionalnih medija sve više smanjuje iako je još uvijek poţeljna. Promocija putem društvenih mreţa je način na koji se najlakše dopire do potencijalnih korisnika, zadrţavaju postojeći i privlači novi korisnici. Na kraju su navedeni zaključci glede obraĎene teme, kao i preporuke prilikom promocije budućih dogaĎaja sličnog karaktera.

This essay elaborates the role of informative and communicative technology in the field of touristic promotion with focus on the Ultra festival in Split. Exact details about the Ultra festival and its promition through social media is given as well as the other side of this event. Nowadays promotions are mostly transmitted through social media and other websites. Thus the promotion through traditional media is strongly reduced, nevertheless required. The easiest way to reach potential customers and new users is the promotion through social media websites. In conclusion the results of the elaborated topic are listed such as recommendations reached through promotion of future events of similar characteristics.
