Abstract
U današnjem poslovnom svijetu, koji je iznimno dinamičan, nijedno poduzeće ne moţe uspjeti bez provoĎenja adekvatne strategije. Za to je odgovoran strateški management. Industrija računalnih igara je posebice osjetljiva na dinamičnost poslovne okoline, pa u njoj strateški management mora biti jako oprezan pri odabiranju dobre strategije. U ovom istraţivanju utvrĎuju se strateški faktori uspješnosti u industriji računalnih igara. Ciljevi su analiziranje strateške okoline, utvrĎivanje optimalne strategije poduzeća i kritičnih čimbenika uspješnosti u industriji računalnih igara. Sve to bit će učinjeno kroz perspektivu vodećeg poduzeća u industriji – Activision Blizzard. To će konačno dovesti do rezultata, a to je spoznaja o uspješnoj strategiji koju bi trebala provoditi poduzeća u ekstremno rizičnoj industriji računalnih igara.

In today's business world, which is exceptionally dynamic, not a single company can be successful without implementing an adequate strategy. Strategic management is responsible for that. Gaming industry is especially sensitive to dynamism of the business environment, so their strategic management must be very careful at choosing a good strategy. In this research, strategic elements of success in gaming industry will be determined. Goals are to analyse strategic environment, determine companies' optimal strategy and critical factors of success in gaming industry. All that will be done through the perspective of a leading company in the industry – Activision Blizzard. By doing so, it will finally lead to results, and that is an understanding of successful strategy which companies should use in extremely risky gaming industry.
