Abstract
Suvremeni uvjeti poslovanja potiču organizacije da budu fleksibilne i prilagodljive, što uključuje nužnost provođenja potrebnih promjena koje nameće njihova okolina. Promjenama je potrebno na adekvatan način upravljati, a jedan od ključnih čimbenika koji utječu na uspješnost tog procesa jest organizacijska kultura. Ona mora biti oblikovana na način da utječe na pozitivan stav zaposlenika i njihovo prihvaćanje promjene. Jedan od temeljnih preduvjeta opstanka i uspješnosti organizacija jest izgradnja održive konkurentske prednosti. Izvor konkurentske prednosti može biti i organizacijska kultura budući da ona predstavlja specifične vrijednosti organizacije koje konkurencija ne može kopirati. Cilj ovoga rada jest na osnovu empirijskog istraživanja u hotelu Villa Argentina utvrditi ulogu organizacijske kulture u upravljanju promjenama te prirodu veze između nje i konkurentske prednosti neke organizacije.

Modern business conditions have encouraged the organizations to be flexible and adaptable, which includes the necessity of implementing the necessary changes imposed by their environment. It is necessary to manage changes in adequate way, and one of the key factors that influence the success of this process is the organizational culture. It must be designed in a way that affects the positive attitude of the employees and their acceptance of change. One of the keypreconditions for survival and success of the organization is to build a sustainable competitive advantage. Source of competitive advantage can be organizational culture as the single specific value to the organization that competitors can not copy. The aim of this paper is to establish the role of organizational culture in the management of change as well as the nature of the connection between it and the competitive advantage of an organization based on empirical research at Villa Argentina.
