Abstract
Naslov ovog završnog rada je „Metalne pjene“. U radu su opisane postojeće vrste metalnih pjena, objašnjeni su postupci proizvodnje i mehanička svojstva metalnih pjena, te je navedena njihova primjena sa svim prednostima i nedostacima. Postupci proizvodnje uglavnom ovise o relativnoj gustoći i veličini ćelija. Budući da su metalne pjene relativno novi materijali, ispitivanja svojstava još su u razvoju, a zbog komplicirane strukture provode se strožim režimima. Zahvaljujući brojnim prednostima metalnih pjena, predviđa se njihovo prevladavanje nad ostalim materijalima u budućnosti.
Abstract (english)
The title of this final paper is „Metal foams“. The paper describes the existing type of metal foams, explains the production methods and mechanical properties of metal foams, and lists their applications with all its advantages and disadvantages. Production processes mainly depend on the relative density and the size of the cells. Since metal foams are relatively new materials, properties tests are still under development, and because of the complicated structure they are carried out under stricter regimes. Thanks to the numerous advantages of metal foams, their predominance over other materials is predicted in the future.
