Abstract
Predmet sociološkog istraživanja su prednosti i nedostaci rada od kuće. Istraživanje je provedeno metodom ankete tijekom svibnja 2018. godine na uzorku od 209 punoljetnih stanovnika grada Splita. Prema dobivenim rezultatima, najviše ispitanika iz privatnog sektora radi od kuće. Uz pozitivna iskustva poput veće fleksibilnosti rada te lakšeg usklađivanja radnih i ostalih obveza, ispitanici su istaknuli i negativna iskustva kao što su nedostatak motivacije, nedostatak socijalne interakcije i nemogućnost napredovanja. Mlađi ispitanici češće ističu negativne aspekte rada od kuće. Smatraju kako je slaba komunikacija s kolegama, obveze se izbjegavaju te dolazi do zagušenja poslom. Ispitanici ne mogu procijeniti je li prema zakonodavstvu Republike Hrvatske rad od kuće jasno definiran. Što se tiče ugovora o radu, ispitanici smatraju kako nisu definirane stavke rada od kuće koje se odnose na broj radnih sati, vrijeme rada od kuće te komunikaciju s poslodavcem. Oni koji od kuće rade prekovremene sate uglavnom nisu za to plaćeni.
Abstract (english)
The subject of the sociological research is the advantages and disadvantages of working from home. The survey is conducted in May 2018 on the sample of 209 adults in the city of Split. According to the results, most respondents that occasionally work from home are employed in the private sector. Along with positive experiences such as greater flexibility of work and easier alignment of work and other responsibilities, respondents also highlight negative experiences such as lack of motivation, lack of social interaction and inability to make career progress. Younger respondents more often point out negative aspects of work from home. They stress that communication with colleagues is poor while obligations are being avoided. In contrast, such work can sometimes be exhausting without a clear shift schedule. Respondents cannot assess whether the working from home is clearly defined according to the legislation of the Republic of Croatia. As far as their employment contract is concerned, they consider that there are no clear work-at-home related items such as working hours or communication modalities with the employer. Those who work overtime are generally not paid for it.
