Abstract
Cilj ovoga rada bio je pokazati na kakve načine odgajatelji mogu potaknuti unutarnju motivaciju predškolskog djeteta. Kako bismo razumjeli što motivira pojedinca, prvo je potrebno shvatiti na kakav način dolazi do učenja. Različiti su pogledi na učenje, pa tako i na motivaciju. Ono što je izrazito važno je razumjeti na koji način koristiti potkrjepljenja, kazne i nagrade. Određenja istraživanja pokazala su da naš pristup učenju može utjecati na unutarnju motivaciju pozitivno i negativno. Iz tih razloga, odgajatelji bi trebali zajedno s roditeljima istražiti ovu tematiku, djetetov interes, sposobnosti, poticati autonomiju i učenje. Što se tiče samog definiranja intrinzične motivacije, još uvijek je izrazito apstraktan pojam te ne postoji dovoljno istraživanja kako bi se odgovorilo na neka od pitanja. Unutar istraživanja koje sam provela i u kojem je sudjelovalo 20 odgajatelja, postoje pokazatelji nedostatka istraživanja ove tematike. Odgajatelji bi trebali što više istraživati ovu tematiku, te bez obzira na to što mnogo toga nije definirano, poticati učenje djeteta koje dolazi iznutra.
Abstract (english)
The purpose of this thesis is to show how educators can stimulate the inner motivation of a preschool child. To understand what motivates an individual, one must first understand the process, methods and ways of learning. There are different views and opinions on the learning process, and so goes with motivation. What is extremely important is to understand how to apply affirmations, punishments and awards. Research has shown that our approach to learning can influence internal motivation both positively and negatively. For these reasons, educators should, together with the parents, explore this subject, and child's interest, abilities. Educators should encourage autonomy and promote learning. As far as the definition of intrinsic motivation is concerned, it is still an abstract concept and there is not enough research to do to find answers to our questions. Within the research I have conducted and involving 20 educators, there are indicators of lack research on this topic. Educators should investigate on this subject more intensely and regardless of how much the topic remains undefined, continue to encourage learning that protrudes from within the child.
