Abstract
Istraživanje razmatra ekološku, ekonomsku i socijalnu održivost nautičkog turizma u Republici Hrvatskoj. Polazi se od perspektive aktera u nautičkom turizmu, pri čemu je korišten pristup mješovite metodologije. Tijekom travnja i svibnja 2019. godine provedeni su dubinski intervjui s vlasnicima charter tvrtki na području Splita i Kaštela. Metodom ankete, provedenom tijekom lipnja i srpnja 2019. godine, obuhvaćena su 102 korisnika nautičkog turizma. Rezultati istraživanja pokazuju kako je nautički turizam održiv na postojećoj razini u Hrvatskoj. Za njegov razvoj potrebno je omogućiti gradnju novih marina u kojima će postojati povoljnija (ekološka) infrastruktura. Na lokalnoj razini pokazuje se važnim poraditi na edukaciji i primjeni postojećih zakona o stvaranju, odvajanju i zbrinjavanju otpada. Prirodni okoliš je najvažniji čimbenik koji privlači nautičare u Republiku Hrvatsku pa njegovim ugrožavanjem ova destinacija može izgubiti privlačnost i vrijedan resurs održivosti za buduće generacije.
Abstract (english)
The study examines the ecological, economic and social sustainability of nautical tourism in the Republic of Croatia. It starts with perspective of actors in nautical tourism and uses an mixed methodology approach. In April and May 2019, in-depth interviews were conducted with charter business owners in the Split and Kaštela area. The survey method, which was carried out during June and July 2019, included 102 users of nautical tourism in Croatia. The results of the research show that nautical tourism is sustainable at the current level in Croatia. For its development it is necessary to build new marinas in which there will be more favorable (ecological) infrastructure. At the local level, the importance of establishing education and implementing existing laws on waste generation, segregation and disposal is shown. The natural environment is the the most significant factor attracting tourists in the Republic of Croatia. With its endangerment, this destination may lose its attractiveness and valuable stability resources for future generations.
