Abstract
Teško je dati točno određenje što je zapravo moda. Ona se tijekom povijesti mijenjala mnogo puta u skladu s periodima i društvenim procesima, a često je i reflektirala razlike medu rodovima, klasne razlike i položaj žene u društvu. U postmodernoj naglasak se prebacuje na individualizaciju, pojedinac je taj koji je dizajner sebe samoga i svog životnog stila. Raste uloga mode i odjece u oblikovanju tijela i identiteta pojedinca. Činom odijevanja pojedinac se može izdvojiti iz društva ili se pak može uklopiti s kolektivom. Istraživanje je provedeno primjenom anketnog upitnika kojim su se tijekom kolovoza i prve polovice rujna 2019. Prikupljali podatci o stavovima i percepcijama mladih Splićana i Splićanki o modi, stilu i trendovima. Analiza podataka pokazuje kako vise od polovice ispitanika smatra da su vjerni svom vlastitom stilu odijevanja, a kod odabira odjeće većini je najbitnija udobnost, estetika i cijena. Manje od trećine smatra kako je moda površna, dok se većina ispitanika slaže da je trend nešto prolazno.
Abstract (english)
It is difficult to determine exactly what fashion is. Throughout history, it has changed many times in accordance with periods and social processes, and has often reflected gender differences, class differences and the position of women in society. In the postmodern, the emphasis is shifted on individualization, it is the individual who is the designer of himself and his lifestyle. The role of fashion and clothes in shaping the body and identity of an individual is growing. By the act of dressing an individual can be separated from society or he or she can blend in with the collective. The survey was conducted using a questionnaire, which collected data on the attitudes and perceptions of youth in Split about fashion, style and trends during August and the first half of September 2019. Analysis of the data shows that more than half of the respondents believe that they are true to their own style of dressing; furthermore, comfort, aesthetics and price are the most important when choosing clothes. Less than a third of respondents think that fashion is superficial, while most respondents agree that the trend is something temporary.
