Abstract
Društvene mreže i interakcija koja se na njima odvija, sve češće se nalazi u središtu interesa raznih istraživanja. U interesu ovog istraživanja smjestilo se ispitivanje aktivnosti mladih Splićana na društvenoj mreži Instagram te prikaz sebe i svakodnevnice na njoj. Na tragu autora Goffmana (1956) koji je postavio dramaturšku teoriju o prezentaciji sebe u svakodnevnom životu, prebacili smo njegove misli online i tako postavili „Instagram pozornicu“. Prezentiranje mladih ne mreži učestala je pojava današnjeg vremena, korisnici mogu „igrati“ različite uloge i prezentirati se na željene načine. U ovom istraživanju sudjelovalo je 378 (N=378) punoljetnih mladih u Splitu s ciljem ispitivanja njihove aktivnosti (broj pratitelja, učestalost objavljivanja i dr.) i prezentiranja (koje uloge „uzimaju“ i koje odnose prikazuju) na Instagramu. Podaci su prikupljeni online anketom te obrađeni u SPSS računalnom programu. Neki od rezultata su da korisnici provode najviše 1-2h dnevno na Instagramu, više objavljuju priče od objava, žene češće koriste filtere od muškaraca, te korisnici s većim brojem pratitelja češće objavljuju sebe. Također, rezultati ukazuju na to da se mladi učestalije prikazuju u društvu prijatelja na mreži, nego s drugim pojedincima iz svojih života. Najrjeđe iskazuju svoje učeničke/studentske i poslovne obveze i odnose.
Abstract (english)
Social networks and the interaction that takes place, are more often in the center of interest of various researches. In the interest of this research, there was an examination of the activities of young people from Split on the social network Instagram and a display of themselves and everyday life on it. Following in the footsteps of author Goffman (1956) who set up a dramaturgical theory of self-presentation in everyday life, we switched his thoughts online and thus set up an „Instagram stage“. Presenting young people online is a common occurrence nowadays, users can "play" different roles and present themselves in the desired ways. 378 (N = 378) adult youth in Split participated in this research with the aim of examining their activity (number of followers, frequency of publishing, etc.) and presenting (which roles they "take" and which relationships they show) on Instagram. Data were collected through an online survey and processed in an SPSS computer program. Some of the results are that users spend a maximum of 1-2 hours a day on Instagram, post more stories than posts, women use filters more often than men, and users with more followers post themselves more often. Also, the results indicate that young people are more often portrayed in the company of friends online than with other individuals from their lives. They rarely express their student and business obligations and relationships.
