Abstract
Temeljni cilj ovog rada je sistematizirati istraživanja o roditeljskoj podršci i vrijednostima mladih sportaša i uputiti na njihov odnos. Roditeljska podrška jedna je od glavnih i najvažnijih stvari koje potiču djecu na bavljenje sportom, ali i da se tim sportom nastave baviti. Uz to, roditelji su ti koji svoje vrijednosti prenose na svoju djecu i vrlo je važno da ih uključe u razne sportove i aktivnosti kako bi pojačali razvoj vrijednosti. Većina istraživača navode kako je roditeljska podrška vrlo važna u sportu, i jedan je od glavnih motivatora djece da se bave pojedinim sportom, ali isto tako manjak podrške može imati potpuno suprotan učinak, a to je da se djeca prestanu baviti sportom. Bavljenje sportom ima veliku važnost za razvoj vrijednosti te stjecanje znanja, vještina i podizanje sposobnosti. Upravo su roditeljska podrška i potpora te koje potiču razvoj vrijednosti koje se kasnije u sportu dalje razvijaju i nadograđuju te djeca kada već odrastu i sama odlučuju koje vrijednosti će dalje pratiti, a koje će zanemariti.
Abstract (english)
The basic goal of this paper is to systematize research on parental support and values of young athletes and to show their relation. Parental support is one of the main and most important things that encourage children to play sports, but also to continue playing them. In addition, parents are the ones who pass on their values to their children and it is very important to involve them in various sports and activities in order to enhance the development of values. Most researchers state that parental support is very important in sports, and is one of the main motivators for children to play a particular sport, but also a lack of support can have the exact opposite effect, and that is for children to stop playing sports. Playing sports is extremely important for the development of values and the acquisition of knowledge, skills and capacity building. It is the parental support that encourages the development of values that are later more developed and upgraded in sports, than grown up children can decide for themselves which values to follow and which to ignore.
