Abstract
Bajka se može definirati kao priča (za djecu) koja sadrži fantastične sile i bića (primjerice vile, čarobnjake i gobline), a također su poznate i pod nazivom priče o bajkama. To je izmišljena priča koja u gotovo svim slučajevima završava sretnim završetkom. Bajke sadržavaju niz posebnih elemenata kao što su primjerice dobar lik, zločesti lik, magiju, kraljevske elemente i sl. Bajka ima zvoju značajnu ulogu u društvenom, intelektualnom i emocionalnom razvoju djeteta. Također, one imaju važnu ulogu u procesu socijalizacije koji uključuje običaje, vrijednosti i navike određenog društva. Pored toga, ima i važan značaj u odgojno-obrazvnom procesu, osobito kod djece osnovnih škola. Prije svega, bajke su prvenstveno namijenjene onima koji tek počinju razumijevati i učiti misterije svijeta. One donose radost mladih čitatelja i slušatelja jer im omogućavaju otkrivanje posebnih svjetova. Bajke, također, promiču razvoj estetskog ukusa djeteta, oblikuju njihovu naviku percipiranja, pamćenja i dobivanja informacija.
Abstract (english)
The fairy tale is a story (for children) involving fantastic forces and beings (as fairies, wizards, and goblins), also called fairy story. It is a made-up story in which improbable events lead to a happy ending. Fairy tale has a lot of special elements like good character, evil character, magic, royalty etc. The fairy tale has its importance found in the social, intellectual, and emotional growth of the child. Fairy tales are said to play an important function within the socialization process which forms taste, mores, values, and habits in a given society. Also, fairy tale has its importance in educational process, especially in primary school children. Firstly, it is intended for those who are only starting to learn how to understand the mysteries of the world. They bring joy to the young listeners or readers as they make it possible to reveal that special world. They also promote the development of aesthetic taste of children, shaping the habits of perceiving, memorising and retrieving information.
