Abstract
U završnom radu izlaže se problem indukcije koji počinje s Humeom. On nalazi problem u induktivnom zaključivanju, jer je u zaključku sadržano više nego u premisama. Također priznaje važnost induktivnog zaključivanja u svakodnevnom životu, zbog čega problem indukcije jest toliko bitan. Kant ne prihvaća Humeov stav te nalazi rješenje u sklopu svoje kritičke filozofije, dok Mill rješava problem tako što prihvaća indukciju iako nije konkluzivna. Verifikacionisti odustaju od traženja konkluzivnih zaključka pomoću verifikacije zbog problema indukcije, a Karl Popper odbacuje indukciju upravo zbog njenog problema te se okreće deduktivizmu.
Abstract (english)
This paper deals with problem of induction which begins with Hume. Problem, which Hume finds in induction, is based on the fact that there is more content in conclusion than in premises. He also recognizes the importance of inductive reasoning in everyday life, which is why the problem of induction is so important. Kant does not accept Hume's view and finds a solution within his critical philosophy. Mill solves the problem by accepting induction althought it is not conclusive. Verificationists abandon their request for conclusive truths because of the problem of induction. Karl Popper rejects induction and turns to deductive reasoning.
