This paper presents the results of the research on the quality of life of Croatian emigrants currently living in Oslo. The basic aim was to examine the opinions, attitudes and practices of the respondents about their migration to Oslo, the reasons for choosing the city of Oslo, adjustments and feelings of integration into the Norwegian society, as well as the reasons for leaving Croatia and potential return to the homeland. Satisfaction with the factors of life in Oslo has been expressed by respondents to almost all examined variables, except for climatic conditions and cost of living and services. Half of the respondents declared that their migration is permanent, and a smaller number estimates their migration temporarily. As the main reasons for leaving Croatia, the largest number of respondents state the economic nature and general dissatisfaction with life in Croatia. When it comes to selecting Oslo as a migration destination, the largest number of respondents has chosen this city because of the conditions on the labor market, as well as because of the connection with the family, friends and acquaintances that already lived there. Croatians feel integrated into Norwegian society and feel that acceptance depends on the immigrant's personal will to adapt to Norwegian culture, people and customs.
