Abstract
Pobačaj je aktualno moralno pitanje s obzirom da u sebi uključuje pitanje života ili smrti. Govoriti o pobačaju znači odlučivati o ljudskoj egzistenciji. S obzirom na to postoje dvije nasuprotne struje, liberalna i konzervativna struja. Konzervativci naglašavaju neprocjenjivost ljudskog života u svim uvjetima i scenarijima. Liberali ističu nepovredivost ženske osobe i njeno pravo da sa svojim tijelom čini što želi. Ove struje posebno se razilaze oko shvaćanja osobe odnosno u kojem trenutku ljudsko biće dobiva karakteristike osobe i time moralni status. Zbog snažnih argumentacija, valjanih primjera i nepomirljivosti mišljenja,, pitanje pobačaja čini se da će ostati otvoreno dok je ljudi.
Abstract (english)
Abortion is popular moral issue as it deals with a question of life or death. To talk about abortion means to decide on human existence. Due to this, there are two opposing streams of thought, the liberal and the conservative one. Conservatives emphasize the value of human life in all conditions and scenarios. Liberals point out the inviolability of a woman and her right to do what she wants with her body. Both streams differ in particular about understanding of a person, that is, at which point the person’s charasteristics will be acquired and accordingly the moral status. Because of strong arguments, valid examples and irreconcilability of thought, the question of abortion seems to be open as long as there are people.
