Abstract
Rad se bavi računalnim igrama kao novom omiljenom vrstom igre djece predškolske dobi. Fokus je na učestalosti igranja računalnih igara kod djece predškolske dobi. Teorijski dio rada obuhvaća povijest računalnih igara te podjelu računalnih igara prema žanrovima, prikazuje i neke od najčešće korištenih portala s online igrama za djecu predškolske dobi, načine zaštite djece na internetu, a osvrće se i na opći utjecaj računalnih igara na djecu te uporabu računala u odgojno-obrazovnim ustanovama. Glavni dio rada je istraživanje o učestalosti igranja računalnih igara kod djece predškolske dobi koje je provedeno u dječjim vrtićima na području grada Solina. Za potrebe istraživanja proveden je anketni upitnik na uzorku od 120 ispitanika. Rezultati istraživanja se uglavnom slažu s rezultatima istraživanja koja su prethodno objavljena, a razmatrana su u ovom radu. Istraživanjem je također utvrđeno da roditelji nisu dovoljno upoznati s načinima na koje mogu zaštititi djecu na internetu.
Abstract (english)
The subject of a present research are computer games as a new favourite kind of play for preschool children. Focus is on the frequency of playing computer games in pre-school age. The paper explores the history of computer games, division of computer games, also shows some of the most commonly used online games for preschool children, ways of protecting children online, and looks at the general impact of computer games on children and the use of computers in educational institutions. The main part of the paper is research on the frequency of playing computer games in pre-school age conducted at kindergartens in the town of Solin. For survey purposes, a questionnaire was conducted on a sample of 120 respondents. The results of the research largely agree with the results of the researches that were previously published and are considered in this paper. Research also found that parents are not familiar enough with ways to protect children online
