Abstract
Rad se bavi obiteljskim i nasljednim pravom srednjovjekovne splitske komune, kroz prikaz odredbi Splitskog statuta iz 1312. godine koje se tiču tih dviju pravnih grana. Prije same analize odredbi, daje se uvid u opće prilike na splitskom području u 13. i 14. stoljeću koje su prethodile pravnoj kodifikaciji. Nakon toga se donose podaci o samom Statutu grada Splita te njegovim dopunama i izmjenama. Potom se pristupa detaljnijem izlaganju odredbi obiteljskog i nasljednog prava te kompariranju s odredbama drugih statuta istočnojadranske obale. Na kraju, iz svega iznesenog, dolazi se do zaključka da pravna regulacija obiteljskih i nasljednopravnih odnosa govori u prilog općem razvoju tih odnosa srednjovjekovne splitske komune u skladu s društvenim, kulturalnim te pravnim kretanjima i u ostalim istočnojadranskim komunama.
Abstract (english)
The main topic of this paper is family and inheritance law of the medieval commune of Split, concerning regulations of these two legal branches in the Statute of Split from 1312. Before analyzing regulations, the presented informations will introduce to general conditions of 13th and 14th century in Split area, that preceded legal codification. Next presented informations will be the ones about the Statute of Split, its amendments and changes. Furthermore, there will be more detailed insight into regulations of family and inheritance law as well as comaparation with regulations of the other statutes of eastern Adriatic communes. Following all of the above, the conclusion will be that the legal regulation of the family and inheritance relations confirms general development of these relations in the medieval commune of Split along with social, cultural and legal trends in other eastern Adriatic communes.
