Philosophy
Abstract
U radu se iznosi Kohlbergova kognitivno-razvojna teorija moralnog razvoja, koja se kritički analizira na temelju drugih znanstvenih istraživanja. Usprkos rodnoj pristranosti, kognitivnom fokusu i zanemarivanju emocionalne komponente u istraživanju moralnog razvoja, Kohlbergov doprinos psihologiji je neupitan. Navedeni nedostaci ne umanjuju vrijednost utjecaja Kohlbergove teorije na moralni odgoj i važnost u cjelokupnom odgojno-obrazovnom sustavu. Podrobnije se elaboriraju metode poticanja razvoja emocija i vrijednosti kao temelja moralnog djelovanja. Djeca predškolske dobi nalaze se na predkonvencionalnoj razini moralnog razvoja; u tom razdoblju moral je još uvijek upravljan i kontroliran ekstrinzično. Odgojitelji i roditelji imaju važnu ulogu i veliku odgovornost u moralnom odgoju, jer ih djeca prihvaćaju kao apsolutne autoritete te svoje djelovanje procjenjuju na temelju njihovih smjernica i posljedica.
Abstract (english)
The paper presents Kohlberg's cognitive-developmental theory of moral development, which is critically analyzed on the basis of other scientific research. Despite gender bias, cognitive focus, and neglect of the emotional component in the study of moral development, Kolhberg’s contri-bution to psychology is unquestionable. These shortcomings do not diminish the value of the influence of Kohlberg's theory on moral education and its importance in the entire educational system. Different methods and perspectives of encouraging the development of emotions and values as the foundation of moral action are elaborated. Preschoolers are at a preconventional level of moral development; in that period morality is still managed and controlled extrinsically. Edu-cators and parents have an important role and great responsibility in moral education, because children accept them as absolute authorities and evaluate their actions based on their guidelines and consequences.
