Abstract
Emocionalno zlostavljanje i zanemarivanje, seksualno zlostavljanje, fizičko zlostavljanje i zanemarivanje, zloupotreba sredstava ovisnosti, član obitelji u zatvoru, obiteljsko nasilje, razvod braka te psihopatološka odstupanja u obitelji predstavljaju kategorije nepovoljnih iskustava u djetinjstvu. Ovi događaji mogu kod pojedinaca uzrokovati razne socio-emocionalne probleme kao što su depresivnost, anksioznost, suicidalno ponašanje, nisko samopoštovanje, zloupotreba sredstava ovisnosti, agresivnosti te poremećaji u prehrani, ali i zdravstvene probleme povezane sa živčanim i endokrinim sustavom, razvojem mozga te promjenom u ekspresiji gena zbog čega takvi pojedinci kasnije u životu mogu postati podložnijim raznim oboljenjima. Zbog težine i opširnosti posljedica ovih događaja na pojedince važno je razviti pristupe u svim sustavima, a posebice obrazovnom, koji će o traumi educirati i informirati korisnike tih sustava, odnosno učenike, te sve zaposlene u tim sustavima, a s ciljem socio-emocionalne dobrobiti svih pojedinaca.
Abstract (english)
Emotional abuse and neglect, sexual abuse, physical abuse and neglect, substance abuse, family member in prison, domestic violence, divorce and psychopathological deviations in the family are categories of adverse childhood experiences. These events can cause various socio-emotional problems in individuals such as depression, anxiety, suicidal behavior, low self-esteem, substance abuse, aggression and eating disorders, but also health problems related to the nervous and endocrine systems, brain development and changes in gene expression which is why such individuals may later become more susceptible to various diseases. Due to the severity and extent of the consequences of these events on individuals, it is important to develop approaches in all systems, especially education, which will educate and inform users of these systems, i.e., students, and all employees in these systems, with the aim of socio-emotional well-being of all individuals.
