This paper is focused on understanding the development process of lesbian, gay and bisexual identities which are (re)constructed and confirmed through continuous experiences and practices of social, cultural and activist life. Queer theory is used as a prism through which we look at certain queer moments detected and explained in the analysis of the data obtained. Interviews were conducted with a total of ten people who identified themselves as homosexual, gay, lesbian and bisexual. Semi-structured interview method was used in order to achieve a deeper understanding of the perceptions and experiences of research participants in the development process of lesbian, gay and bisexual identity. The results of the research show that lesbian, gay and bisexual persons share similar experiences in the process of identifying, sharing, expressing and accepting sexual identity. Entering the LGBTIQ community, participation in LGBT and queer cultural and social life as well in activism, are important determinants of the (re)construction of lesbian, gay and bisexual individual and collective identity.
