The aim of this study was to examine the significance of vocal education in master of primary education and the importance of the vocal hygiene. The voice quality and speech are of extreme importance when it comes to human communication, especially in people whose profession requires vocal training. People who make use of their vocal abilities are called vocal professionals. Teachers' profession presupposes the use of voice as an asset which is why teachers are at large risks of developing disorders due to consecutive daily practice, sometimes in the adverse communication environments. Vocal abuse is the most common cause of vocal disorders which occurs due to constant effort voice is exposed to. Processed sample included a total of 270 encompass teachers of lower and higher grade teachers, 216. The largest number of respondents aged between 40 and 50 years of age (41,54%). Seniority teachers lower grade average amounted to 19.08 years, while teachers of the higher grades amounted to 15.83 years. The most worrying is the fact that more than 70% of teachers complained reported to have experienced certain vocal issues. The most common difficulty in both groups is hoarseness which happens to be the most common symptom implying an occurence of a vocal disorder. A very small number of went to consult an expert in the field, 4.81%. A large percentage of respondents who feel problems with voice point to the need of educating teachers on the implementation of the so-called vocal hygiene from the carieer beginning. Gaining awareness of the issue teachers could quickly identify the symptoms of vocal dysfunction, look for help at an early stage and to apply the acquired knowledge to teaching the proper use of the vocal apparatus.
