Abstract (english)
Silvije Strahimir Kranjčević was a historic center of the subject for much debate criticism. Throughout history, the theorists were concerned with all aspects of his poetry; religious, social, reflective, astral, general human et al. Describe him as a person of poor physical appearance, but powerful inspiration and spirit. His themes range from major biblical heroes, trouble little man, the fate of the country, personal doubts and questions to the post-apocalyptic existence. His poetic language is shaped antique motifs and refined style metaphors and symbolism. Critics take issue around the center of his poetry so it is difficult to write a reception in one direction, and draw a central guiding principle . The diversity of themes and motives allows for different interpretations. In conclusion, Silvije is a critical writer of Croatian literature because of all the new ideas that he brought into the traditional understanding of poetry.
