Abstract
Cilj je bio doznati da li su sezonske varijacije učestalosti regmatogene ablacije retine povezane s insolacijom. Ispitivanje je provedeno na uzorku od 238 ispitanika liječenih kroz 11 godina u KBC Split. Statistička značajnost razlika učestalosti ispitana je χ² testom u grupi s pojavom bolesti u proljetno-ljetnom periodu u odnosu na jesensko-zimsku grupu kao kontrolnu. Na isti način su uspoređene razlike učestalosti ispitivane bolesti i sunčanih dana u splitskom području. Utvrđen je rast incidencije ispitanika s regmatogenom ablacijom retine u ispitivanom periodu. Povećana učestalost bolesti zabilježena je u jesensko-zimskom periodu (51,26%) bez statistički značajne razlike. Nije utvrđena hipotetska povezanost učestalosti bolesti s insolacijom.
Abstract (english)
The investigation was performed to find out if there is some relation between seasonal variation of frequencies of rhegmatogenous retinal detachment and insolation. It was done in the group of 238 patients treated within 11 years in Clinical Hospital Centre Split, Croatia. Statistical significance of differences of frequencies was examined by χ² test in the group with spring-summer expression of the disease using autumn-winter expression group as control. The differences of frequencies of the disease and the sunny days in Split County were compared in the same way. There was increase of incidence of patients with rhegmatogenous retinal detachment in the examined period. Increased frequency of the disease was noted in autumn-winter period group (51,26%) without statistical significant difference. The hypothetic relation between the frequencies of disease and insolation was not proved.
