Abstract
Novčano tržište je tržište kratkoročnih sredstava. Ono u užem smislu podrazumijeva uzajamno kreditiranje poslovnih banaka u kojem one novac pozajmljuju od centralne banke. Pojam novčanog tržišta u širem smislu obuhvaća sveukupno kratkoročno kreditiranje, te ponudu i potražnju kratkoročnih sredstava.Vrijednosni papiri na novčanom tržištu kratkoročni su instrumenti sa dospijećem kraćim od jedne godine. Trgovanje tim vrijednosnim papirima na međubankarskom, primarnom i sekundarnom tržištu vrlo je aktivno. Opseg transakcija na nacionalnim, ali i međunarodnim tržištima je velik. Razne vrijednosnice na novčanom tržištu omogućuju zadovoljenje posebnih potreba zajmoprimaca i zajmodavaca.
Abstract (english)
The Money market is a market for short-term assets. In a narrow sense, it implies mutual lending of commercial banks in which they borrow money from the central bank.The concept of Money market in a broader sense includes overall short-term lending, and supply and demand for short-term assets.Money market securities are short-term instruments with a maturity of less than one year.Trading in these securities on the interbank, primary and secondary markets is very active.The volume of transactions in national and international markets is large.Various Money market securities enable the special needs of borrowers and lenders to be met.
