Abstract
Životni ciklus proizvoda alat je koji se koristi za određivanje strategija koje će se koristiti u bilo kojoj fazi razvoja proizvoda u prodajne i marketinške svrhe. Postoje četiri različite faze; uvođenje tržišta, rast, zrelost i zasićenje i pad. Svaka od ovih sugerira različite poslovne radnje koje mogu poboljšati isplativost proizvoda. Dizajneri i trgovci mogu optimizirati poslovnu vrijednost temeljem svojih strategija na određenoj fazi u kojoj se proizvod nalazi u bilo kojem trenutku. Životni ciklus proizvoda pretpostavlja da većina proizvoda ima životni vijek. U svakoj fazi poslovanje se suočava s različitim nizom prednosti i nedostataka, zastojima i mogućnostima. Kako bi odgovorilo na te izazove, poduzeće mora imati različite strategije za pristup razvoju, dizajnu i marketingu za bilo koju fazu.
Abstract (english)
A product life cycle is a tool used to determine strategies to be used at any stage of product development for sales and marketing purposes. It has four different phases; market introduction, growth, maturity and saturation and decline. Each of these suggests different business actions that can improve product profitability. Designers and retailers can optimize business value based on their strategies at a particular stage where the product is at any given time. The product life cycle assumes that most products have a lifespan. At each stage of the bu siness, it faces a different set of advantages and disadvantages, setbacks and opportunities. To meet these challenges, a company must have different strategies to approach development, design and marketing for any stage.
