Abstract
Kroz godine primaljstvo je prolazilo kroz razne faze. Prije su žene rađale u svojim kućama što je rezultiralo većim mortalitetom novorođenčadi kao i majki. Nakon mnogih promjena i modernizacije zdravstva taj broj se znatno smanjio. Danas je situacija znatno drugačija. Polako se neke stvari i u hrvatskim rodilištima počinju mijenjati i porođaju se počinje humanije pristupati. Neka hrvatska rodilišta u tome su naprednija gdje u suradnji s primaljama i opstetričarima žena može izabrati na koji način roditi, odnosno položaj u koji joj je najugodniji dok svoje dijete donosi na svijet. Potrebno je omogućiti primaljama da se školuju na višoj razini kako bi mogle pružiti adekvatnu skrb svojim klijenticama tijekom cijelog razdoblja trudnoće, porođaja i babinja. S obzirom da se uvode razne promjene u kojima je potrebna veća suradnja s klijentima očekuje se povećanje stresa na radnom mjestu.
Abstract (english)
In years of midwifery haspassed through various stages. Before women gave birth in the in homes, which resulted in higher mortality rate for infants and mothers. After many changes and modernization of health that numberiss ignificantly reduced. Today the situationis vastly different. Slowly some things in Croatian maternity hospitals begin to change and childbirth begins to have more humane access. Some Croatian maternity wardsthat are more advanced, incooperation with midwives and obstetricians, women can choose how to give birth, orthe position in which she is most comfortable while their child comes in to the world. It is necessary to enable midwives to go to a higher level to be able to provide adequate care to their clients during the entire period of pregnancy, child birth and puerperium. Since it introduced a variety of changes that require greater co operation with the Clientis expected in crease of stress in the work place.
