Abstract (english)	During a survey in the large quarry area of Bacakale several unknown inscriptions and marks were discovered painted in red colour on some quarry fronts. This epigraphic evidence, which probably can be dated to the middle Imperial period, shows that strict production control was not limited to the quarry items produced, blocks and column shafts, but in fact was extended to the quarry sites, where, on the extraction faces, the amount periodically extracted was recorded.
